"Good Morning Cathedral School" is the student news program
of The Cathedral School. The television program began on a very
small scale in 2000 and has since become the very best way for the
entire school community to begin its work together. The program
allows the classrooms to synchronize their clocks, set the schedule
for the day and remind one another about events, birthdays, special
occasions and updates. As the Fifth Graders perform both on-camera
and off-camera jobs, the school benefits from the information and
those students are called upon to finely hone their communications
skills because the news they give is so very important. The oldest
students on campus share with the younger ones news about the weather,
sports, current events, character education tips, student committee
meetings, family entertainment ideas and projects. Following the
Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag and the Pledge to The Cathedral
School, special features include:

Every classroom at the school is equipped with closed circuit television
to watch the Morning Show. Following the morning news, each class
has its own Morning Meeting and Morning Prayer Circle. What a great
way to begin a working day.
